P!nk fan ejected from concert after 'bomb' tweet

A music fan is facing possible criminal charges after tweeting about a "bomb" at a recent P!nk gig.

The US singer was performing at the Rod Laver Arena in Melbourne on Sunday night (July 7) when a 16-year-old gig-goer published an ill-advised tweet.

He said: "@Pink I'm ready with my Bomb. Time to blowup #RodLaverArena Bitch."

It alerted the authorities and venue staff reportedly discovered the tweeter through his profile photo before ejecting him. He could face criminal charges.

The fan later told media that his tweet was in fact a reference to the P!nk song 'Timebomb' and proclaimed his innocence. He added:

"It was meant to be about drop the effects, the music, everything - just drop it all."
