JLS singer Oritse Williams finding boyband split "really difficult"

Singer Oritse Williams, who found fame as one fourth of boyband JLS, has explained that he's struggling to get his head around the group's impending split as his music career is something he has poured so much time and energy in to.

During an interview with BANG Showbiz, the heartthrob confessed that the split is a very difficult thing for him to come to terms with: "I've got that real root attachment to the band. It's like having a baby and rearing it, then seeing it become 18 and leave home - it's a really difficult thing to do."

"Only we know the journey we've been on over the last few years. Nobody knows about the darker times, when no one believed in us. Nobody saw those moments. Those are the moments we will share forever."

Speaking about how the boyband will mark their collective career's end, Williams revealed that they're going out of their way as a group to ensure the celebrations will be worthy:

"We're preparing for the end in an amazing way. We've got an exciting tour, it's going to be a nostalgic celebration. The fans will love it. We've worked really hard and achieved a lot of things in our seven years as a group. And I think it's just time for it to come to an end and move on to something different."
