17-year-old rising star Little Nikki has revealed that she thinks country-pop superstar Taylor Swift is an inspiring artist.

Speaking to Yahoo! OMG, the singer (pictured left) explained how she admires Swift for writing about such personal issues and also loves how she is very truthful in her songs:

"I’m a huge fan. She’s really inspirational – she has this beautiful amazing voice. I think it [writing about her life experiences] is great. I think without her a lot of girls wouldn’t know ‘oh my god this is what I’m feeling’."

"Even when I heard her song 'Fifteen' I was like, ‘this is such a great song, me and so many of my friends have had the same feeling’. So for a girl to sing about those subjects, to make herself vulnerable by saying such truthful honest things, it's really inspirational.”

Meanwhile, she is set to release her new single 'Little Nikki Says' on September 9 and confessed that "it’s like a beat driven, jungle pop track. It’s definitely a pop song which is kind of cool because obviously pop stands for popular so I don’t mind doing pop."
