MTV working on Miley Cyrus documentary

It has been revealed that a documentary about Miley Cyrus and the creative process she is going through for her upcoming new album is being planned by MTV.

The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that the station's programming president, Susanne Daniels, announced the exciting project at the Television Critics Association press tour earlier today (July 26).

Apparently, the hour-long special is due to air this autumn and will follow the 'We Can't Stop' beauty as she prepares her new record along with looking at her much talked about style transformation from "Disney princess" to the edgy artist she is today.

During a recent interview with ITV's 'Daybreak', Cyrus confessed that she finally feels free and is allowing herself to be true to who she is: "I feel like it’s a much better time for me because I don’t owe anyone anything."

"I have always been a person who when I work for someone I show respect and do what I say I’m going to do so, I finished up my show and did what I had to do then took two years to work on my record and now I’m able to play that for the world."
