Swedish duo Icona Pop have admitted that they like Robin Thicke’s version of their track ‘I Love It’.

Singer Aino Jawo, one half the electro couple, gave her verdict of Thicke’s cover to MTV News.

Jawo told a news reporter: “We love it.”

Robin Thicke performed a slowed-down take of ‘I Love It’ for an appearance on Radio 1’s Live Lounge for which he also altered some of the song’s lyrics.

Reviewing the ‘Blurred Lines’ crooner’s rendition of their single Aino said: “It's so nice to hear different versions of your songs and his version was so sexy and it was like you wanted to go into a bedroom and make love.”

Icona Pop’s ‘I Love It’ knocked Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines’ off of the No. 1 spot in the UK singles chart after a four week reign at the end of June.
