Cookie Monster covers Icona Pop's 'I Love It'

Sesame Street's well-loved character Cookie Monster has released a parody video in which he covers 'I Love It' by duo Icona Pop (pictured below).

Back in July 2012, he covered Carly Rae Jepsen's summer anthem 'Call Me Maybe' and has now revealed a new offering that shows he keeps up with new chart entries and popular music.

The video has only attracted around 52,000 hits so far, but figures are bound to rise as it spreads across the Internet. Cookie Monster has altered the lyrics appropriately to reflect his obsession with the delicious baked good and he sings:

"When me lose control, when me on the brink. Need to just calm down, me need to stop and think. Me need control me self, yeah that's the way to live and then me functioning like an executive."
