This year's American Idol judges will be revealed imminently.

The US TV show only has one confirmed member right now - the returning Keith Urban - with the other three still to be confirmed.

Host Ryan Seacrest, however, told E! that their identities will be announced soon, confirming:

"We're going to announce the judges very, very soon and I think people will be excited about the names we'll have on the panel."

He added: "This year there's been a lot of speculation about it, but we're honing in on that announcement and that decision, so I'm excited about that personally."

A number of top names have been suggested as possible replacements for the outgoing Randy Jackson, Nicki Minaj and Mariah Carey.

Former contestant Adam Lambert has been mooted, as well as ex-judge Jennifer Lopez and Voice UK man will.i.am.
