Virgin Atlantic to host mini-gigs on domestic flights

Richard Branson has announced that he will be putting on live music concerts on some of the upoming flights operated by his new domestic airline, Little Red.

The acts will be announced via social media and people won't be able to find out beforehand which flights will host the gigs as this new initiative and new brand of in-flight entertainment is being put in place to "shake up domestic flying in the UK".

Branson explains in a statement: "In true Virgin Atlantic spirit we're doing something a little different and providing our passengers with a line-up of gigs to ensure we offer a truly unforgettable flying experience on Little Red."

Little Red flies daily from London's Heathrow airport to locations such as Edinburgh, Manchester and Aberdeen.
