Backstreet Boys to donate photo profits to Hurricane Sandy relief effort

American boyband Backstreet Boys recently shot some images with famed photographer Tyler Shields and they will sell limited edition prints to benefit the hurricane Sandy relief program.

The pictures (shown below) were taken to form the album artwork for their new offering, 'In A World Like This', and they will be on display for the first time at the Openhouse Mulberry gallery in New York from this week. The exhibition is set to open to the public on Thursday, August 15.

A press release on the group's site explains: "Tyler took the Backstreet Boys out of their usual city lives and literally out of the every day world into the Salton Seas for the collection of artworks which are now available to buy in very limited hand signed editions and as art posters."

Prices for the photographs range from $35 (£22) to $1,500 (£969) and profits will go to the Sandy New Jersey Relief Fund, which was set up after the superstorm ripped through the area last year.
