Online ticketing site StubHub has confirmed that the most searched for tickets this summer are for One Direction's upcoming tour.

Although the lads aren't set to hit the road in England again until spring next year, the site has seen a phenomenal amount of interest where their shows are concerned and statistics have shown that they're ten times more popular on the online marketplace than contemporaries JLS.

Brigitte Ricou-Bellan, General Manager International at StubHub, explained in a statement: "Fans' love for One Direction doesn't seem to be slowing down - in fact, we're seeing even more demand for tickets to the boys' shows than this time last year."

"Uber-fans like those in the army of 'Directioners' want to take every opportunity to indulge their passions and we see a lot of these doing their utmost to see the band whenever they can."

Meanwhile, a documentary about the boyband's fans is set to air this evening (August 15) on Channel 4 in the UK.
