The singer says he was beaten with a police baton before having a gun pulled on him, with Band told to give over his "Hollywood money". His attackers then "left him for dead at a local railroad track in Lapeer", with Band suffering a "fractured lower spine, 15 stitches to his lower chin, three broken teeth, and a bruised side and stomach". The Calling man added that he told his assailants that he was a dad-to-be, with the men then stating that they "don't kill fathers".
