Perrie Edwards is now engaged to Zayn Malik.

The Little Mix star has been dating the One Direction singer for a number of months and their relationship has gone from strength to strength.

Edwards turned heads at One Direction's This Is Us film premiere last night (August 20) when she showed off a glitzy ring, leading to engagement speculation.

Her mum Deborah initially confirmed to Real Radio that the rumours were indeed true. She said:

"Yes, it's true. They got engaged on Sunday and it's absolutely lovely. It's wonderful because Zayn is absolutely gorgeous and Perrie loves him to pieces. It's just perfect and they get on so well together. It's just fabulous."

A rep for One Direction has since officially confirmed the news to Pressparty, saying: "Zayn and Perrie are engaged, but any further detail regarding their relationship is private."
