David Bowie has landed six nominations for this year's Q Awards.

The ceremony is due to take place in London on October 21 and fans can now vote in the numerous categories.

Bowie is nominated for the Best Track, Best Video, Best Album, Best Solo Artist, Best Act in the World Today and Best Event awards off the back of his latest album 'The Next Day'.

Arctic Monkeys and Daft Punk meanwhile have three nominations each, whilst 'Burn' star Ellie Goulding is up for the Track and Solo Artist gongs.

Among the nominees for the Best New Act award meanwhile are the likes of Jake Bugg, Disclosure and Laura Mvula.
