Rita Ora: 'I haven't got the balls to ask Pharrell Williams to collaborate with me'

'Shine Ya Light' hitmaker Rita Ora has revealed that she is desperate to work with Pharrell Williams although she is too nervous to approach the superstar and producer.

She spoke to London's Metro at last night's GQ Awards (September 4) and explained that he is so talented that it makes her anxious so walking up to him and asking if he might be interested in teaming up with her seems very daunting:

"I love Pharrell Williams. I have been a fan of his since I was young. I would love to work with him. I haven't got the balls to go up to him."

Ora added that now that the festival season has finished she will focus on working on her new album: "My last solo show was on Saturday. It was a bit emotional because it was the last time me and my band are going to play until next year, so I am very sad because we'd been playing every day. I am just getting focused now on getting an album done without having to do shows. I'm going to be hibernating and finishing these songs off."

Williams has since responded to the beauty's comments and said of a possible duet: "Sure. I think she's sweet and wonderful."
