Conor Maynard thinks Miley Cyrus's 'Wrecking Ball' video is "risky and cool"

'Can't Say No' hitmaker Conor Maynard has given his opinion on Miley Cyrus's new music video for 'Wrecking Ball'.

The offering is very risqué and shows the former Disney beauty completely naked and sucking on a sledgehammer, but it earned her a new 24-hour VEVO record after the video attracted 19.3 million hits in just one day.

Speaking to Capital FM, Maynard explained: "She's very, she goes all out! She's very, very risky. It's something different and she's getting people's attention so it's working. I genuinely think the song's really good, I think I prefer it to 'We Can't Stop'."

"For me, 'Wrecking Ball', it's a really, really cool song and the video is something to watch! I definitely rate it, I think it's cool."

The songwriter who wrote 'Wrecking Ball' spoke out in defense of the video's nudity earlier this week, tweeting: "I'm just going to throw it out there. Maybe nudity is the representation of feeling emotionally stripped & vulnerable. And maybe she is kissing the sledgehammer because we all secretly love the pain."
