Daft Punk's 'Random Access Memories' becomes Amazon's best-ever selling vinyl album

Online music retailer Amazon has confirmed that Daft Punk's 2013 album 'Random Access Memories' has become their best-selling vinyl record to date.

The French dance duo only released the album earlier this year and it has already become the No.1 most popular vinyl offering of 2013, but it has also become the best-selling vinyl record on the site since it launched back in 1999.

Other vinyl albums in the all-time Top 10 include Adele's '21' at No.2, Amy Winehouse's 'Back To Black' at 3, David Bowie's 'The Next Day' at 4, and Pink Floyd's 'The Dark Side of the Moon' at No.5. The 2013 Top 10 includes Black Sabbath's '13' at No.4, Vampire Weekend's 'Modern Vampires of the City' at No.7, and Fleetwood Mac's 'Rumours' at No.8.

Daft Punk's smash-hit single 'Get Lucky' recently passed 100 million streams on Spotify and shifted over 1 million units in just 69 days in the UK.
