Stevie Nicks: 'I'm glad we have Beyoncé because she isn't skanky'

Fleetwood Mac star Stevie Nicks has admitted that she's glad Beyoncé has found international fame because she's a great role model to the younger generation.

Speaking to The Telegraph, the 'Edge of Seventeen' hitmaker explained that so many music stars at the moment are stripping off and giving a negative impression, so the 'Halo' beauty provides fantastic relief from that:

"Beyonce's great. She's got her alter ego, but Beyonce the girl, the woman, is very sweet and nice and polite. She's a good role model. She's not skanky. I'm glad we have her."

Nicks also recently gave her opinion on Miley Cyrus and confessed that she expects she will enjoy great success because she has a good amount of talent and the right attitude:

"I think that people will be sorry. I am going to use Miley Cyrus as an example as I happen to really like her. I happen to think that she - unlike some of the other rock and roll 'slash' actresses that we are really worried about - has the possibility and the ability to be a great actress, a great singer and probably a great songwriter and go on until she's my age."
