Rockers Metallica have released a preview to their upcoming 3D movie ‘Through The Never’ in the form of an 8-minute ‘Master of Puppets’ clip.

The film stars Dane DeHaan as a roadie named Trip who is sent to retrieve an item from a broken truck. He is struck by another vehicle on the way, gets caught in a riot and is pursued by a horseman.

The film takes its name from a track off the band’s 1991 self-titled album – also known as ‘The Black Album’ – which also contains the band’s hit singles ‘Enter Sandman’ and ‘The Unforgiven’ among others.

The movie is due for release at the end of this month and the soundtrack will come out on September 24th.
