Little Mix launch make-up collection

Little Mix have unveiled their debut make-up range.

The girl group have teamed up with manufacturers Collection to release a series of cosmetic items.

Products due to go on sale include bronzer, blusher, eye-shadow, lipstick and nail polish.

Little Mix launched their range on Tuesday (September 24) in London and it will go on sale in the UK in Superdrug from today (September 25) and in Boots next week.

However, the decision to release a make-up range to a young audience has come under fire, with Educational psychologist Teresea Bliss telling the Daily Mail that it could give off the wrong ideas. She said:

"In the rush for easy money the ex-X-factor contestants like Little Mix are contributing to the early sexualisation of our children. The Little Mix band are a group of young women whose following is younger girls who look up to them as role models. Their young fans will try to look like band members by buying the make up they have endorsed."
