Union J have revealed the reason why the band missed an ‘X Factor’ rehearsal last year. It seems that one of their band members, Josh Cuthbert, was spending some quality time in the loo.

 Jaymi Hensley let it slip at the launch of Pokemon X and Y, telling the Daily Star: “We missed a soundcheck because we couldn’t find Josh. It turned out he was in the toilet playing on his Gameboy.”

Confronted with the information, Cuthbert explained: “It was the only place you could hide from the researchers nagging you.

“I used to sit on the toilet to get some peace.”

The band are currently gearing up for the release of their self-titled debut album, which is due to drop on the 28th of this month.
