Azealia Banks storms off stage at Australian music festival

Azealia Banks cut her performance short at the Listen Out Festival in Melbourne yesterday (October 5) as she stormed offstage mid-song.

Whilst performing her latest single ‘ATM JAM’ a can was thrown at Banks from the audience.

The 22-year-old New York rapper immediately threw her microphone on the floor and walked offstage whilst music continued to play.

The ‘212’ songstress did not return to the stage but later tweeted: “Sorry to all the festival-goers in Melbourne !!!!!”

A subsequent show in Brisbane seemingly went according to plan as Azealia informed her Twitter followers:

“K. Brisbane went smoothly. No one threw any cans at my head.”

Azealia Banks recently revealed that she dropped a collaboration with Disclosure from her upcoming debut album because “they were rude”.
