Little Mix: 'We don't really work with Simon Cowell anymore'

Former 'X Factor' winners Little Mix have revealed that mentor and boss Simon Cowell has very little creative input into their collective career now that they've established themselves.

The beauties made the revelation during a Google+ Hangout and confessed that they barely see him: "We don't really work with him to be honest... We see him on the TV every now and again."

Back in August, film director Morgan Spurlock explained that Cowell has taken a step back from piloting the One Direction lads' fame, too: "He's so not involved in the boys' lives any more. I'm sure he chimes in every now and then, but they vote on every decision that's made - they've become incredibly empowered when it comes to their career path, it's like 1Democracy."

During the Hangout, Little Mix were asked about their upcoming new album, which is called 'Salute', and described it as "brilliant" with member Perrie Edwards telling fans: "You can't sum it up in one word because it's so versatile."
