Little Mix to release new album 'Salute' in the US next year

Little Mix have confirmed that their forthcoming second album will be released in America next year.

The girl group will unleash 'Salute' in the UK on November 11 but the former X Factor winners confirmed to Billboard that it will see the light of day in the states on February 4.

This coincides with the band's upcoming North America tour supporting Demi Lovato, which kicks off on February 9.

Jesy Nelson said: "We are so excited to release our second album, 'Salute', in the US on February 4, right before we kick off our very first US tour with Demi Lovato."

She added: "We've worked extremely hard writing this album over the past couple of months, and cannot wait to perform for all of you Mixers!"

'Salute' follows up Little Mix's 2012 debut 'DNA', which managed to achieve an impressive No.4 position on the Billboard album chart.

It's preceded by the single 'Move', which will be released in the UK on November 3.
