Songstress Mel B, of Spice Girls fame, has revealed that she is a strict parent and made sure to keep her children grounded as she was bringing them up in the spotlight. 

She told Fox 411 that it's important to her that her kids, Phoenix, 14, Angel, 6, and 3-year-old Madison, live normal lives so that they become successful and sensible when they're older: 

"I'm very strict. My kids have been brought up very grounded, they go to public school, they've got to tidy their rooms, they've got to do their chores to earn their pocket money. That's how I was brought up."

Referring to her busy schedule, Scary Spice added that she has to prioritise and knows how to make time for her family as they're the main loves of her life:

"You just make it work, try to balance it out every week and make sure the kids get their homework done, tidy their rooms and you make sure you get as much time with your kids and making sure you're fulfilling your duties as a loving wife, a singer and an artist."
