Naomi Campbell: 'I asked Victoria Beckham about her lack of black runway models'

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has revealed that she personally called Spice Girls star Victoria Beckham to quiz her on why she had only included one non-white model in her London Fashion Week runway show.

Campbell is part of the anti-racism Diversity Coalition and told Britain's The Mirror newspaper that after Beckham's design house was flagged as one of the offenders, she had to get in touch to find out what was going on:

"I called Victoria and I spoke to her. I don't want to pin-point anyone. It isn't a blame game. Everyone's name was on that letter because they'd done it."

"It could have been completely unintentional. She is one of the designers on there like everyone else."

The pair fell out back in 2000 when Campbell publicly demanded to know why Beckham was known as the 'posh' member of the iconic girl group, to which Beckham took offence and declared her a "massive cow".
