'People always mistake me for Ed Sheeran' says Rupert Grint

'Harry Potter' actor Rupert Grint has confessed that he still gets mistaken for singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran after playing him in the 2011 music video for 'Lego House'.

He portrayed a fan obsessed with the hitmaker in Sheeran's aforementioned video, but recently explained that the mix-up continues to happen and 70s star Leo Sayer is the latest celebrity to have confused him for the singer:

"[Do we get mixed up?] Yes of course, a lot. People get confused all the time. One time I was at this Formula One race and Leo Sayer was there. There was definitely a kind of confusion because he came up to me and said how much he liked my music... He was so convinced I was Ed, I just played along. Ha."

Grint, meanwhile, is in a new film called 'CBGB' that looks at the legendary New York punk rock club and he added that playing the guitar for the role was a challenge because he couldn't do it: "I can't really play the guitar that well, so I had to pretend, but that didn't matter, The Dead Boys were so sloppy, and they did so many drugs, I didn't have to be a good guitar player."

Sheeran took to his official Twitter page over the weekend and told his followers to expect something exciting later this week: "Something cool is happening 5th of november. or midnight of the 4th, whatever is better."
