Martin Garrix's 'Animals' set to hit No.1 in the UK

Martin Garrix has topped the UK singles chart's midweek update.

The Official Charts Company revealed today (November 13) that the Dutch DJ's track 'Animals' has debuted at No.1.

It has sold 67,000 copies so far this week and if he hits No.1 on Sunday (November 17), 17-year-old Garrix will be the second youngest act to reach No.1 in the UK this year after Lorde, who was 16 when 'Royals' hit the top spot.

In at No.2 on the midweek update is Lily Allen's cover of Keane's 'Somewhere Only We Know', which features on the John Lewis Christmas advert.

This means that Eminem and Rihanna's 'The Monster' drops to No.3, whilst Little Mix's 'Move' similarly moves once place downwards to No.4.

At No.5 on the update is Storm Queen's 'Look Right Through' - a four place drop from No.1, where it debuted on Sunday (November 10).
