Liam Hemsworth breaks Miley Cyrus split silence: 'I'm extremely happy for all of her success'

Earlier this autumn, pop superstar Miley Cyrus and her fiancé Liam Hemsworth broke off their engagement and he has finally spoken publicly about the tough split.

Although the 'Wrecking Ball' beauty has addressed it during recent interviews, Hemsworth has remained tight-lipped about the situation until now. Speaking to U.S. news show 'Extra', he explained:

"I'm extremely happy for all of her success."

When asked about his current relationship status, which was a point of discussion after he was pictured kissing actress Eiza Gonzalez, Hemsworth added: "I don't have a lady at the moment."

Cyrus, meanwhile, told Ellen DeGeneres that despite it being a tough thing to go through in the spotlight, she feels very happy and free: "I want to be really clear and determined with everything I'm doing in my life right now, and I have been."

She added: "I keep saying I'm the happiest I've ever been and that's not even a dig. That's just me, because I really am genuinely happy finally with myself, which I think sometimes it takes you separating yourself from someone else to really be happy with who you are. I've never been able to just be alone, and I'm obsessed with being alone and like hearing my thoughts."
