Ryan Tedder: 'My Beyoncé collaboration is better than 'Halo''

OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder has opened up about the work he has been doing with Beyoncé on her forthcoming new studio album and teased details of a new collaboration they have recorded.

During an interview with Australian radio station Nova, the 'Counting Stars' hitmaker explained that he thinks that their duet is better than her smash hit single, 'Halo':

"Personally the song we did I like more than 'Halo'. I think it's a bigger, better song, [The-Dream] did 'Single Ladies', I did 'Halo' so we thought - what would happen if we just did a song together?"

He also added that he doesn't know anything about the album's expected release date, but noted it will be worth the wait when it's unveiled: "I don't know when she's coming out with something. I don't know what the album's called… All I know what I've heard is amazing."

Earlier this autumn, Beyoncé debuted a brand new song in the form of 'God Made You Beautiful', which features on the DVD for her documentary, 'Life Is But A Dream'.
