X Factor UK singer Sam Bailey believes Harry Styles would be a good addition to the show's mentor roster.

The TV talent show often brings in famous faces for some pieces of advice and this year's hopeful reckons the One Direction man would be a good pick.

She revealed that whilst the group were at the X Factor studios recently, Styles picked up on the fact that she was feeling a bit low.

Bailey told OK!: "I was having a fat day and thinking I was going home and Harry found me upset in the corridor, put his arm around me and said, 'Come with me.' He was really sweet, hugged me and said, 'Sam Bailey, I want to see you go out there and smash it.' He'd make a good mentor in a few years."

Speaking meanwhile about being away from her husband Craig and her two children during filming, Bailey added:

"It's hard being away but they're my main reason for doing this. I just want them to have a really good life and have things I never had when I was younger. I have to remember that and Craig reassures me they're OK."
