Ask.com have revealed their most popular searches of 2013 and 'Why is Kim and Kanye's baby named North West?' came out top.

In second place on the list is Miley Cyrus's controversial twerk-filled performance at the MTV VMAs, with users wanting to know 'What did Miley Cyrus do at the VMAs?'.

Glee star Cory Monteith's cause of death was the third most searched phrase whilst 'What did Paula Deen say?' was fourth.

Other popular searches were the air date of the Breaking Bad finale, footage of Reese Witherspoon's arrest and actor James Gandolfini's death. The full list is as follows:
