Rachel Stevens says S Club 7 reunion won't be happening "any time soon"

Rachel Stevens has dismissed the idea of an impending S Club 7 reunion.

The pop group split in 2002 after some hugely successful singles and they have been linked with reuniting for ITV's Big Reunion series.

Whilst Paul Cattermole, Bradley McIntosh and Jo O'Meara have reunited under the name S Club 3, it seems the original seven won't be having a comeback any time soon.

Rachel Stevens told Bang Showbiz: "[The Big Reunion] is a great show, but I think for us, there's seven of us...seven of us getting back together, we're in all in very different places, so [I don't know].

"I loved The Big Reunion and watched all the shows. When they did the tour with them all, I felt a bit emotional watching it because I just thought, how brilliant for them to relive it all. They looked like they were having the best time."

However, Stevens did suggest that there could be an S Club 7 reunion at some point in the future. She said:

"I've got baby number two on the way now, so I can't imagine we'll be doing 'Reach for the Stars' any time soon. 'We've been in touch and everyone obviously has such fond memories of the band. If it was for the right thing and a celebration of what we had, I don't see why not at some point."

ITV's Big Reunion debuted earlier this year and saw the likes of Atomic Kitten and 5ive feature.
