Louis Walsh on James Arthur: 'He should be more grateful and respectful'

Music mogul and 'X Factor' panelist Louis Walsh has hit out at 'X Factor' winner James Arthur, following the young rising star's troubled time recently.

Arthur has become known for slamming pop groups via Twitter and shocked his following after using a homophobic slur in a rap battle diss, and Walsh has now given his opinion on his behaviour:

"He's a competition winner that got lucky. He came from a little bedsit, he should be a lot more grateful and a lot more respectful to everybody. Don't get me going."

"Nicole worked so hard with him last year - she got him into the final. He doesn't look comfortable in his own skin. He has talent but he's not Bob Dylan."

Walsh quickly added that Arthur's constant bashing of his contemporaries via social networking site Twitter doesn't help his image either:

"You can't be slagging off One Direction, you can't slag off success. I think they're good role models and show the pop business is alive and well."
