Led Zeppelin's back catalogue to be added to Spotify

Led Zeppelin have struck a deal to have their albums on Spotify.

The classic rock band have traditionally been absent from music streaming services, but from today (December 11) their material will be available on Spotify.

Their back catalogue will be added in stages, with 'Led Zeppelin' and 'Led Zeppelin II' available from today.

Their other albums will then be added in chronological order up until December 15.

The band's last studio record came in the shape of their 1982 collection 'Coda', which was released two years after their split.

Spotify meanwhile have also announced plans to allow mobile users to use their service for free on their devices.

The ad-supported playback will be available on Android and iOS tablets and smartphones.
