Queen say 2014 will be a "fun" year

Queen have whetted fans' appetites by promising that the next year will be a "fun" one.

The band took to Twitter to suggest that plans are afoot for some Queen-related happenings in 2014, saying:

"So 2014 looks like it is shaping up to be a fun one for @QueenWillRock fans... ;)."

This has piqued interest in fans of Adam Lambert, who has been fronting the group over the past couple of years.

Drummer Roger Taylor recently said in an interview that the band think they will be teaming up once again with the vocal powerhouse in 2014.

It all ties in somewhat with news that Lambert's new role on Glee is only as a guest due to his busy schedule next year.

The singer is also due to release the follow-up to his 2012 album 'Trespassing' in 2014.
