McBusted aiming for the stars: 'We want to do the first music video in space'

Newly formed supergroup McBusted have revealed that they want to shoot a music video in space as it's something that hasn't ever been done before.

Member Danny Jones told Digital Spy that they're hoping to get a spot on board a coveted Virgin Galactic flight and would then love to work on a project while they were up there:

"We want to do the first music video in space. McBusted can record their first ever one on a Virgin Galactic."

Lady Gaga (pictured below), however, is set to become the first artist to sing in space and she will team up with Virgin Galactic in 2015 to perform live high above Earth. Speaking about the opportunity in November, Gaga explained:

"I did not buy a ticket. My ticket was given to me. I was asked specifically to sing. So I'm going to be the first recording artist to sing in space. And I did not purchase my flight. This is a special festival event held by Zero G Colony and I will be flying to space two months after the first commercial flights take off."
