Steps singer Ian 'H' Watkins is "furious" after learning that his photo has been appearing alongside news stories on Google about convicted peadophile Ian Watkins.

As previously reported, the 36-year-old Lostprophets singer was jailed for a total of 35 years after he admitted to a number of child sex offences.

The Steps singer, who shares the same name as the fallen rock star, recently received an apology via the courts after E! published his photo on a story about Watkins' offences.

He has now complained to Google after his own image was published next to stories about the Lostprophets man.

The web company responded: "For some specific searches Ian H Watkins' picture is appearing in our results because he is relevant to the story, having received a court apology. We are looking into the issue he raises."
