Madonna has been forced into using crutches after injuring her foot dancing.

The singer was spotted hobbling into her home recently in New York and her rep has confirmed that she has bruised one of her feet.

They told the New York Post: "She bruised a bone in her foot from dancing in her high heels...she’ll be fine and off crutches in a week."

The Queen of Pop meanwhile recently confirmed Katy Perry as the guest curator for her Art For Freedom project.

The initiative aims to promote and encourage free speech as a means to address international injustice and human rights issues.

At the end of January, Perry will help Madonna pick a winner whose "creative expression demonstrates a unique view of the fight for human rights". The selected person will then choose which charity to donate $10,000 of Madonna's money to.
