Madonna has revealed her pride after watching her daughter Lourdes in a school play.

The 17-year-old took part in LaGuardia Performing Arts school's production of A Flea in her Ear.

The show took place over April 3-6 and Madonna took to Instagram last night (April 6) to post an image of her daughter dressed up in character.

The Queen of Pop added: "Lola as a French Maid in A Flea in her Ear! Last show tonight at La Guardia! Amazing talent! Amazing production! Im so proud! #rebelheart #artforfreedom."

The Manhattan school said of their production: "A Flea In Her Ear, written by Georges Feydeau, is the first Spring Drama Festival event for the 2014 season.

"Join us for a farcical two hours of door slamming scandal inside the depths of the Frisky Puss Hotel, where the rich turn poor, the faithful turn adulterous and the good become very, very wicked."
