Giorgio Armani comments on Madonna Brits cape fall

Giorgio Armani has responded to Madonna's fall at the Brit Awards.

The singer wore a cape designed by the fashion man during a performance at the ceremony last week.

However, she became a viral hit on the internet after her cape was pulled by a dancer, causing Madonna to fall.

The singer claimed that cape had been tied in an effort to stop it coming off her body too soon.

She said on Instagram: "Armani hooked me up! My beautiful cape was tied too tight! But nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up! Thanks for your good wishes! I'm fine!"

Armani has now given his thoughts on the fall, telling the Associated Press:

"Madonna, as we know, is very difficult.

"This cape had a hook and she wanted a tie, and she wasn't able to open it with her hands. That's all there is to it."
