Madonna launched into an expletive-ridden outburst after taking to the stage an hour late in Manchester.

The singer performed at the city's Arena on Monday (December 14) but fans were left waiting for her set.

This prompted many to reveal their frustration at the delayed start.

Madonna responded in acerbic style by telling those complaining to "shut the f**k up*.

She then said: "The video crashed. We had no video and we had to wait until we could reboot. No selfish diva b**** reason.

"If you diva b****es want to keep complaining about it don't come to my show."

The majority of the crowd lapped up Madonna's words.

The singer was performing in Manchester as her Rebel Heart world tour hits the UK.
