Madonna performs without sound and lights after breaking curfew

Madonna rallied through a curfew in Glasgow on Sunday (December 20) by performing with no sound or lights.

Bosses at the Hydro venue pulled the show after the US star ran over her scheduled time.

However, the 'Rebel Heart' singer carried on performing her song 'Holiday' regardless.

With no PA and the house lights up, Madonna and her backing dancers performed to the delight of her fans who managed to sing along.

Speaking on Instagram after the show, the singer said: "We don't stop till its over Glasgow! Don't try to silence the Queen [sic]."

A number of fans criticised the Hydro on Twitter for pulling the plug on the concert.

Madonna meanwhile was an hour late on stage at a recent Rebel Heart tour show in Manchester due to video problems.
