Madonna's Rebel Heart Tour has now grossed over $80 Million

The Queen of Pop has topped Billboard’s latest Hot Tours ranking with the newest reported box office sales data from her global jaunt on the Rebel Heart Tour.

The new Hot Tours list includes figures from 14 shows in eight markets during the European leg of the tour. The box office revenue totals $22.6 million from 194,827 sold tickets at 14 performances. Overall sales from the Rebel Heart Tour tickets now total $80 million from 45 concerts during the first two legs of the tour.

Billboard reports that 622,048 fans have seen the tour since the opening date through North America that ran from September 9 until October 29. Madonna's tour will resume in North America on January 6 in Mexico City for a couple of shows, before returning to the USA for eight performances. Madonna's 88-show MDNA Tour brought in $305 million in 2012.

U2's Innocence and Experience Tour came in at No.2 with $18,613,752, Cold Chisel are at 3 with $1,848,640, Sir Elton John is at No.4 with $1,414,330, and John Farnham rounds off the Top 5 with $470,803.

Madonna, meanwhile, sought legal advice earlier this week after her 15-year-old son Rocco refused to board a flight back from London, where he was spending time with his filmmaker father Guy Ritchie.
