Madonna's manager denies 'Girl Gone Wild' name change threat

Madonna's manager Guy Oseary has denied claims that the singer was forced into changing the name of her new single.

The Queen of Pop recently unveiled her new track 'Girl Gone Wild' - a slightly different name than the previous title 'Girls Gone Wild', according to reports.

It had been reported that Joe Francis, creator of the softcore porn series 'Girls Gone Wild', had objected to the use of the name and had asked her not to perform the song at her recent Super Bowl appearance.

However, Madonna's manager Oseary told TMZ that he was not aware of Francis's objection and claimed that the the track name was altered due to the way Madonna sings the lyrics in the track.

Oseary added that other track names on Madonna's upcoming album 'MDNA' had also been altered.
