Madonna 'gay propaganda' Russian lawsuit dismissed

A lawsuit filed against Madonna that claimed she promoted homosexuality to Russian youths has been thrown out of court.

As previously reported, the Queen of Pop provoked controversy after she allegedly stuck up for gay rights at a concert in St Petersburg, where it is said to be unlawful to promote homosexuality to children.

She was hit with a lawsuit of £6.7 million by the Trade Union of Russian Citizens, who believed that increasing gay rights would negatively affect in the country in future years.

At a hearing on Thursday (November 22), the case was thrown out of the court, with the judge reportedly at one point threatening to remove journalists for laughing in the room.
