Madonna has suggested that she could release a new record in 2014.

The Queen of Pop's last studio effort came in the shape of 2012's 'MDNA', which spawned a hugely successful world tour.

It seems the 'Girl Gone Wild' star is looking to maintain that momentum and work on a follow-up soon. When asked by a fan in a Reddit Q&A session if there is a new record in the works, Madonna said:

"There might be [a new album in 2014]...my creative juices are flowing..."

Digital Spy reports that the singer also responded positively to the idea of releasing an album of reworked acoustic songs.
