Thursday JAZZ DIVAS 2016 @ St James Theatre

The third Jazz Divas series from JBGB Events in the company of four a-list female jazz stylists is well underway at St. James Theatre, London, and is the greatest all-star line-up yet.

The 2014 series with Gabrielle Ducomble, Georgia Mancio, Jacqui Dankworth and Tina May was a sparkling first divas presentation.

The 2015 series, with Elaine Delmar, Jacki Hicks, Polly Gibbons and Sarah Gillespie received enthusiastic support.

This 2016 series brings together the delights of Joanna Eden in February, (fresh from her sold out performance of the music of Ella Fitzgerald at St. James in the London Jazz Festival), Clare Teal in March, (leaving her big band behind, making her debut in the intimate club like atmosphere of the St. James Studio) Norma Winstone in April (undoubtedly one of the UK's most innovative performers) and the irrepressible Claire Martin in May (who with another sold out performance opened the London Jazz Festival at St. James last November)

These wonderful performers are unquestionably the four leading female jazz singers in the UK. To have them all performing in this single series at St. James Studio makes this one of the hottest must have tickets on the 2016 London jazz scene.

Arrive early and dine upstairs in the St. James Theatre restaurant. Relax before and after the show, joining

the audience in the bustling ground floor cafe and bar, with the basement Studio bar open throughout the evening.

We look forward to your company at St. James for the 2016 Thursday Jazz Divas series.
