This lush recording continues to explore, life, love and loss to the full; she shares maturity of voice and of song-writing – “Carol Laula, once again shares her incredible gift through song. Why is it incredible? Because it will strike a chord in your heart; take a listen to it and tell me if I am wrong" - Fred Migliore - FM Odyssey Radio - WFIT

Throughout 2016, Laula has toured throughout Scotland, commissioned to open the Spree festival as well as performing at Celtic Connections. Her live performances are warm, embracing, intimate and engaging; an immersive experience to be shared by everyone, both in the audience and on the stage!

After a guest appearance this year in New York City’s Lower Eastside Girls Club, Carol performed a few songs, including Envy of Angels – encouraging the girls to join in – one of the girls was so moved, she stood and shouted ‘man, this girl can sing!’
