Vocal sensation Mariah Carey has revealed that she doesn't have a date for St. Valentine's Day (February 14) this year because her beau, Nick Cannon, has a packed schedule that doesn't allow for any down time. 

Speaking to America's Ryan Seacrest earlier this week, Carey confessed that her husband has plans on the romantic holiday so she'll be flying solo with just her twin babies for company:

"The abandoner is going to be some where else. And by abandoner, I mean Nicholas Scott Cannon."

She joked: "I was giving him beep about it all day. I’ll be alone with the babies, but they’re my Valentines anyway."

She has been working hard on a new album, which is due to be officially released on May 6, and Carey confessed to Seacrest that her family was a big inspiration on its lyrical content: "There are songs on the album that are [about Nick] and there are even songs for the babies that I wrote specifically for them."
