Mariah Carey launches non-alcoholic 'melodic beverage'

Songstress Mariah Carey has just unveiled an exciting non-alcoholic 'melodic beverage' called Butterfly, which allows consumers to unlock exclusive content.

The barcode located on the side of the bottle can be scanned and, in turn, it will grant users access to a new social network for exclusive photos and videos through something called 'Go N’Syde Beverage', which is a smart phone app.

Speaking at a press conference in New York City earlier this week, she explained: "I have always wanted to do something with a beverage... This is a whole ‘nother thing. We can do this, and I will almost be in the room with you."

Earlier this spring, Carey addressed retirement speculation and confessed that as long as she lives she will always want to record and release music: "I will always make music. When I said it could be my last, that's because tomorrow's not promised to anyone."
